This house from the 19th century used to belong to a barrier guardian who worked for the national railway company. We’ve transformed it into a cozy holiday home suited for maximum four people. The house is situated close to the center of Hofstade, next to the ‘Notelaarsroute’, the bike lane that connects Aalst and Gijzegem. This makes it the ideal location for cycling enthusiasts who want to explore the region. Moreover, the house radiates so much charm that it’s the ideal location for everyone who wants to take a break from daily routine.
The holiday home consists of a spacious entrance with toilet, a beautiful well-equipped kitchen, a cozy sitting and dining area.
The house overlooks a small but snug garden. Discover the jacuzzi and sauna, which are perfect for the well needed relaxation after a firm walk or bike ride. The garden is completely enclosed, so cyclists can put their bikes away safely.
On the first floor of the house are two double bedrooms and a separate bathroom with a toilet, washbasin and a roomy shower.
Both the first floor and ground floor have air conditioning, so it’s nice and cool in summer but also cozy and warm in winter. Furthermore, the gas fireplace provides the necessary warmth and cosiness in the sitting area
